Paint (or pinto) horses just fascinate me artistically - they're basically walking abstract art. I'm currently in a "multi-image" phase, where I divide up the canvas and explore a theme or a subject through related but independent panels. This lets me utilize material that might not stand on its own as a painting (such as the guy in the lower left enjoying a good roll) but that rounds out exploration of a subject.
